Herbal CSA 2023
Junipers Garden is excited to offer an herbal CSA featuring fresh and dried herbs, value added products and seedlings! This CSA is perfect for the beginner to the experienced herbalist who is looking to source their herbs locally, build deeper relationships with plants and make medicine to sustain themselves and their families and community. ​

We will be offering 3 CSA types this summer.

Each CSA type offers monthly pick ups for 6 months.

Pick ups are June to November 2023.​

We are currently offering pick ups at our farm in Brandywine MD and at the Anacostia Art Center in DC.

Apothecary Share
For anyone who wants to deepen their relationship with herbs through hands-on experience and farm based education. Join us at Junipers Garden once a month for a class in the garden. During each class you will; learn about the herbs in your share, learn how to care for the plants, harvest them and make herbal medicine.

Family Apothecary Share
For the family herbalist who uses herbs to care for themselves and their family. Build your home apothecary with this herbal CSA! Receive kid friendly herbs and recipes,
Take home 6-8 items each month which could include fresh, dried, value added or seedling. .

For the herbalist who loves to make their own medicine and experiment with different tastes, actions and energetics. This CSA share can help you deepen your practice by providing access to a wide range of locally grown herbs.

Each month you can expect to get a range of the herbs listed below. These herbs may come in fresh or dried form, as a value added product or a seedling. We grow herbs, make products and source herbs and products from local small scale BIPOC farmers in the DMV.
